To subtract three-digit numbers, follow these steps:
1. Write down the two numbers you want to subtract, making sure the digits in the ones place line up.
2. Subtract the digit in the ones place of the minuend (the number being subtracted) from the digit in the ones place of the subtrahend (the number doing the subtracting). If the result is negative, add 10 to it.
